Witch Medicine
—
Take a journey with me across the month of Samhain.
The medicine of the Witch is the medicine for our times; she stands as the seer at the edge of the world. Inviting us to remember our power and the ways of the wise women, while re-inventing herself for the new epoch.
Across a series of three, three-hour online immersions, you will be guided into an experiential process of learning, release, healing and reclamation, exploring the craft that lives within our witch blood.
The Witch is a figure many women understand intimately, almost instinctively, and yet much of the history, practice and complexity that sits beneath her has been obscured, romanticised or reduced within modern culture.
Across these workings, we will approach witchcraft both as a living spiritual and magical art and as a body of practices shaped by many different historical currents. We will explore the older folk, ecstatic, esoteric and feminine traditions that have contributed to our contemporary understanding of the Witch, while also asking what it means to practise and develop these arts now.
We begin with Witch Medicine, exploring the many currents that have come to sit beneath the word witchcraft. We will move through the distinctions between modern witchcraft, Traditional Craft, folk magic, cunning traditions, Faery belief, spirit work and ecstatic practice, while examining the complicated histories of the witch hunts and the many figures that existed around the edges of European magical culture. We will explore familiar spirits, trance, flying ointments, poisonous plant traditions, Goddess paths and the relationship between witchcraft, altered states and the unseen.
From here we enter Voces Magicae, an exploration of language as magical technology. We will work with spell, incantation, sacred sound and the ancient Greek voces magicae, alongside practices of channeling, glossolalia, ritual language and the contemporary phenomenon often described as Light Language. We will consider the voice as a medium through which altered states, intuition and meaning can be expressed, and explore the ways rhythm, repetition, breath, song and language have historically been used to heal, invoke, enchant, curse and cast spell.
The final immersion takes us into The Magick Mirror and the art of seership. This teaching is designed to work with both novice and more experienced practitioners, introducing the mirror as a serious magical and contemplative tool rather than simply an object of divination. You will learn practices for working with black mirror and obsidian for scrying, altered perception and visionary work, alongside processes concerned with personal power, projection, self-perception and healing our relationship with the feminine form.
Together, these three immersions explore three fundamental dimensions of the craft: the tradition we inherit, the voice through which we give it expression, and the capacity to perceive beyond the immediately visible.
They are an invitation not simply to learn about witchcraft, but to consider what it means to consciously reclaim, practise and steward these arts within a contemporary life.

WITCH MEDICINE
Across these three immersions, we will explore the Witch as a living spiritual, magical and cultural figure, moving through the histories, practices and states of consciousness that have shaped her across time.
We will look at the many currents that now sit beneath the word witchcraft, from folk magic, Traditional Craft, Goddess traditions and spirit work to trance, seership, incantation and altered states. We will consider what has been inherited, what has been reconstructed, what has been obscured, and what is still emerging within contemporary practice.
The work moves through three distinct but connected territories: the roots of the craft and the many histories of the Witch; the voice as a medium for spell, channeling, sacred language and invocation; and the mirror as a tool for seership, altered perception, power and self-knowledge.
This is not an attempt to create one definitive version of witchcraft. It is an exploration of the practices, lineages and symbolic worlds that continue to inform the Witch today, and of the ways we might engage them with greater depth, discernment and embodied understanding.
We are interested not only in what the Witch has been, but in what she is becoming.
This series is designed to work equally well whether you join live or move through the teachings in your own time.
If you cannot attend the live dates, you will receive access to the recordings and can still experience the full depth of the teachings and practices at your own pace.
